The Cloud 9 Lift Coffee Table glides with a smooth motion from its lowered position as a coffee table to its raised position for laptop use or to enjoy a meal on the couch. The gray Italian porcelain top is durable and scratch-resistant and features contoured finger grips on the edge and a rounded, race track shape. The base is made from steel with a powder coated finish. When raised with its pneumatic lift mechanism, the top reveals a hidden storage area below that is lined to keep objects steady when the top is in motion. The compartment is perfect for keeping remotes, game controllers and reading materials close at hand, but out of view. The top extends toward the user by 12.5". One side of the compartment is open for easy access from the sofa side. Levelers under the feet keep it steady on uneven floors. Designed by Matthew Weatherly for BDI, this modern adjustable height cocktail table is availble in three finishes.
