Bright reading light without shining in others' eyes

Rating:
Pros:
  • small light source
  • ability to aim the direction of the bulb
  • push-button switch on light stand
Cons:
  • none noted
We have a small den in a post-WWII house where we relax in the evenings.

We may read or watch TV or a movie.

The evening hours are when I get caught up on the mail of the day and I read using a bright floor lamp with three separately-adjustable bulbs.

This was disturbing my wife as the bulbs tended to shine in her eyes, distracting her from the program on TV.

We found the Eurway floor lamp with an adjustable head on the single LED light source and ordered it.

I can now read without disturbing my wife as I can aim the light away from her.

There is peace in our house hold once again!

We looked a long time to find good reading lamps & these are perfect. High intensity light, sleek, sturdy & excellent craftmanship. Perfect for reading & other closeup work. There’s nothing we dislike about them & wouldd highly recommend them.
