The Spanner Lounge Chair in Light Birch and Red was originally created in 1950 by Canadian designer Russell Spanner and has become a mid-century modern classic. This contemporary lounge chair has been out of production for more than 50 years. Gus* Modern worked in collaboration with the Spanner family to revive this iconic chair, carefully matching the construction, materials, and design details to stay true to the original. The frame is constructed with solid birch and birch plywood with exposed bolts and finger-joint details. The woven-web seat is made with 100% cotton.
