This glass top metal frame desk is elegant. But it is a beast to assemble. It arrives in two flat pack boxes. It’s not ‘some assembly.’ It’s every single screw, fastener, dowel, drawer slide and bracket assembly required. And there are no written hints - just (fairly accurate) illustrations and part numbers. My hint- don’t tighten up any of the frame brackets until after the glass top is screwed on. I had to loosen it all up to get it to fit. And it must align perfectly... no “give” with glass. Open box to final tightening of the screws took 4 hours. I felt like I was on the floor with my kids 20 years ago assembling a Playmobil castle. I’d do it again, but only once per generation.
