I work standing up with a laptop, a cell phone, and a cup of coffee or water on my desk, nothing else. This little laptop desk is perfect for stand as long as you limit the number and weight of the objects on the desk. The height adjustment mechanism is capable and easy to use.
Assembly was very simple and quick, the instructions were clear and concise.
My only regret is that I did not know that this table was going to ship from a location in Austin, which is where I live. Had I known, I would have just picked it up myself and had the desk 2 days earlier.
